MORE BRAIN AND SPINE PATIENTS THAN ANY OTHER PHYSICIAN GROUP IN ILLINOIS
The Chicago Institute of Neurosurgery and Neuroresearch Medical Group (CINN) is one of the nations leading organizations for the diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of people with brain and spine disorders. Originally founded in 1987, CINN is one of the Midwests largest teams of neurosurgeons known for their pioneering treatments in minimally invasive techniques.
President and medical director of CINN, Dr. Leonard J. Cerullo, founded CINN in 1987 in order to develop an environment that offered the neurosurgical patient something different, something unique, something better. He felt that patients whose conditions required super-specialized care needed a special kind of attention a focus not only on the medical conditions, but also on the emotional needs during this difficult time in their lives.
Today CINN is comprised of neurosurgeons, physiatrists, neurologists and a neurointerventionalist complemented by 2 clinical psychologists, working together to provide an interdisciplinary approach to patient care of the highest caliber. Over the past twelve months, CINN physicians have evaluated nearly 10,000 new patients and performed approximately 2,000 surgeries at six hospitals throughout Chicagoland. CINN treats more patients with brain tumors and spine disorders than any other physician group in Illinois.
