CINN at The Neurologic & Orthopedic Hospital of Chicago (NOHC) is located at 4501 N. Winchester Avenue on Chicago’s north side (Wilson Avenue and Damen Avenue) and can be reached via Lake Shore Drive or I-90.

 

*From the north: Take Lake Shore Drive south to Montrose Avenue and proceed west about 1-1/4 miles to Ashland Avenue. Turn right (north) onto Ashland and proceed to Sunnyside Avenue. Turn left at Sunnyside and proceed past Wolcott to NOHC on the east side of the street before Damen. Or, take I-94 south to the Cicero Avenue exit. Turn left (east) onto Foster and continue about 3-1/2 miles to Damen Avenue. At Damen turn right (south) and continue approximately 1 mile to Sunnyside. Turn left (east) onto Sunnyside and continue 1 block to NOHC.

*These directions have been revised due to street repairs on Montrose between Damen and Ravenswood.

From the west: Take I-90 east and exit at Irving Park Road. Go east on Irving Park to Damen Avenue, about 3-1/2 miles, and turn left (north) and continue approximately 1/2 mile to Sunnyside. Turn right (east) onto Sunnyside and continue 1 block to NOHC. Or take I-290 east to I-90/94 north. Exit north on Damen Avenue and continue about 2-3/4 miles to Sunnyside. Turn right (east) onto Sunnyside and continue 1 block to NOHC.

From the south: Take I-57 north to I-94 west which turns into I-90/94. Stay on I-90/94 west to Damen Avenue. Exit north on Damen Avenue and continue about 2-3/4 miles to Sunnyside. Turn right (east) onto Sunnyside and continue 1 block to NOHC.

Parking:

The Neurologic & Orthopedic Hospital of Chicago offers valet parking for a fee of $3.00 per day. Valet parking is available at the emergency room entrance from 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

A self-park covered garage at 4501 N. Damen Ave. is conveniently located across from the Hospital. The parking garage is available 24 hours a day.

Public Transportation

Three bus lines – Damen Avenue no. 50, Wilson Avenue no. 145, and Montrose Avenue no. 78 as well as the CTA Brown Line elevated train, all stop within walking distance of NOHC.

The Damen Avenue no. 50 and the Wilson Avenue no. 145 stop at the corner of Damen Avenue and Wilson Avenue.

The Montrose Avenue no. 78 stops at Damen Avenue. Walk north on Damen Avenue approximately 2 blocks to NOHC.

The CTA Brown Line has a stop at Montrose Avenue. Exit the Montrose station and head west on Montrose 2 blocks to Winchester Avenue. Proceed north 1 block to Sunnyside. NOHC is located on the northeast corner of Sunnyside and Winchester.

When you arrive:

When you arrive at NOHC, enter the hospital through the Emergency Department entrance located at Winchester and Sunnyside. This is the main entrance for all CINN patients. The staff at this entrance will provide assistance or directions to elevator No. 6 in NOHC. If needed, a CINN transporter will be available to accompany you or your family and friends to the appropriate floor.

The CINN at Rush Outpatient Center is located at Rush University Medical Center, Professional Office Building, 1725 W. Harrison Street, Chicago, Illinois, and can be reached via I-90/I-94, I-290 or I-55.

 

From the north: Kennedy Expressway (I-90/I-94) to the Eisenhower Expressway (I-290), west on the Eisenhower to the Ashland/Paulina exit, south (left) on Ashland Avenue to Harrison Street, and west (right) to the Medical Center.

From the west: Eisenhower Expressway (I-290) to the Ashland/Paulina exit, straight one block to Ashland Avenue. Turn south (right) to Harrison Street, and west (right) to the Medical Center.

From the southwest: Stevenson Expressway (I-55) to the Ashland exit, north (left) on Ashland Avenue to Harrison Street, and west (left) to the Medical Center

From downtown Chicago: West on Congress Parkway, which becomes the Eisenhower Expressway (I-290), to the Ashland/Paulina exit, south (left) to Harrison Street, and west (right) to the Medical Center.

When you arrive:

Rush University Medical Center provides a covered parking structure or valet parking. The parking structure can be entered from Harrison Street. Please remember to bring your self-park ticket with you to the CINN at Rush Outpatient Center to receive validation for a discounted parking rate. Enter the Professional Building via the fourth-floor pedestrian bridge. Valet parking is located at the west entrance of the Professional Building. If necessary, a wheelchair is available for you if you valet park. To inquire about parking fees please call the CINN at Rush Outpatient Office. Once in the Professional Building take elevator #3, if necessary, to the 1st floor.

From north: Take I-294 south to Cermak Road (22nd Street) west. Take Cermak west to York Road. Take York Road north (right) to Brush Hill Road. Turn west (left) on Brush Hill and enter the parking lot on your right hand side.

From south: Take I-294 north to Roosevelt Road. Take Roosevelt Road west 1/4 mile to York Road. Take the York Road north exit but continue straight through the light (crossing York Road) onto Brush Hill Road. Turn right into the Center for Health parking lot.

From east: Take I-290 (Eisenhower Expressway) west to Roosevelt Road. Take Roosevelt Road west 1/4 mile to York Road. Take the York Road north exit but continue straight through the light (crossing York Road) onto Brush Hill Road. Turn right into the Center for Health parking lot.

From west: Take the East-West Tollway (I-88) east past the York Toll Plaza. Exit right at York Road, follow the York Road exits. Take York Road north (right) past Roosevelt Road to Brush Hill Road. Turn left on Brush Hill Road and enter the parking lot on your right hand side.

When you arrive
The Elmhurst Memorial Center for Health provides a complimentary outdoor parking lot surrounding the building. Valet parking is available at the main entrance for a minimal fee. The CINN-Elmhurst Outpatient Center is located on the third floor. Please check in at the patient registration desk.

From I-57: Exit at 159th Street and travel east to Wood Street. Turn left on Wood Street and continue to 156th Street. Turn right. Ingalls Hospital and the Professional Office Building will be located on your left.

From I-294: Exit at 159th Street and travel east to Wood Street. Turn left on Wood Street and continue to 156th Street. Turn right. Ingalls Hospital and the Professional Office Building will be located on your left.

From I-94/80: Exit north on Halsted Street. Continue North to 159th Street. Turn left on 159th Street and continue to Wood Street. Turn right on Wood Street and continue to 156th Street. Turn right. Ingalls Hospital and the Professional Office Building will be located on your left.

Ingalls Hospital provides an outdoor parking lot, which is located on Wood Street across from the Hospital, and a covered parking garage, which is located on 156th Street across from the Professional Office Building

Parking validation is available at the Outpatient Center. The CINN-Ingalls Hospital Outpatient Center is located on the second floor of the Harold J. Gouwens Professional Office Building in Suite 208.

From the west: Take the Tri-State Tollway I-294 north or south and exit east onto 95th Street . Follow 95th to Kostner Avenue .

From downtown Chicago: Take the Dan Ryan Expressway I-94 south to the 95th Street exit and go west. Or, take the Stevenson Expressway I-55 to Cicero Avenue . Go south on Cicero to 95th Street , then east on 95th to Kostner Avenue .

From the north: Take the Kennedy Expressway I-90 downtown to the Dan Ryan Expressway I-94. Follow the Dan Ryan south to 95th Street exit and go west on 95th Street . Follow 95th Street west to Kostner Avenue .

From the northwest suburbs or O’Hare Airport: Take the Tri-State Tollway I-294 south and exit east on 95th Street . Follow 95th Street to Kostner Avenue .

From Hammond Indiana or Michigan: Take I-80/94 west to I-294 north. Take I-294 to Cicero Avenue and exit north. Take Cicero north to 95th Street then go east on 95th to Kostner Avenue .

When you arrive:

Parking is available in the parking towers on Kostner Avenue and also in our surface parking lot on Kostner Avenue directly across from the entrance to Hope Childrens Hospital. Valet parking is available at the circular drive located at the main entrance to both hospitals.

IN CASE OF EMERGENCY In an emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest hospital emergency department. When you arrive, ask an emergency department nurse to contact your primary care physician immediately. The emergency department nurse may also contact your CINN physician.

The CINN-North Shore Outpatient Center is located on the Rush North Shore Medical Center Campus in the Knox Building, 9701 Knox Avenue, Suite 103, Skokie, Illinois. The center is located just east of Skokie Boulevard and can be reached via I-94 or I-294.

 

From I-94 (Edens Expressway): Take I-94 and exit at Old Orchard Road. Turn east. Continue east to Skokie Boulevard and turn right (south). Proceed on Skokie Boulevard about one-quarter of a mile to Golf Road. Turn left (east) on Golf Road to Knox Avenue. Turn left (north) on Knox Avenue and proceed in to the parking lot. The Knox Building is located on the right (east) side of the parking lot.

From I-294 (Tollway): Take I-294 and exit at Dempster Street East. Take Dempster to Gross Point Road. Turn left (north) on Gross Point Road and continue to Golf Road. Turn left (west) on Golf Road and then right on Kenton Avenue. Proceed in to the parking lot. The Knox Building is located on the right (east) side of the parking lot.

The Rush North Shore Medical Center provides complimentary outdoor parking.
Public Transportation

Rush North Shore Medical Center is easily accessible by CTA and PACE bus routes. The following buses leave from the Howard Street CTA Station (7600 N., 1700 W.) — CTA no. 97 and PACE no. 215.

CTA no. 97 – Skokie. This bus departs the Howard Station every 15 minutes. Travel time is approximately 50 minutes. The bus stops on the corner of Skokie Boulevard and Golf Road. You must walk east on Golf Road about 3 blocks to reach the Medical Center.

PACE no. 215 – Old Orchard. This is a white and yellow PACE bus. That departs the Howard Station every 30 minutes. Travel time is approximately 25 Minutes. Exit at the stop on the corner of Golf and Gross Point Road across the street from the Medical Center

From Chicago: Take the Dan Ryan Expressway, I-94S, which merges into I-57S. Continue south on I-57 and exit at 159th Street/US-6. Continue west on 159th Street/US-6 to Oak Park Ave. Left at Oak Park Ave. Right at Centennial Drive

From the east: I-80/94W to I-294N (signs for Wisconsin/I-294N/Tollway). Take the 159th St/US-6 W exit. Head west on 159th St/US-6 to Oak Park Ave. Turn left. Travel south .3 miles to Centennial Drive. Turn right.

From the west on I-80: Take exit 148B to merge onto Harlem Ave/IL-43N. Head north 3 miles to 167th St. Turn right. At Oak Park Ave, turn left. Travel north .7 miles. Turn left onto Centennial Drive.

From the south on I-57: Take exit 346, West 167th St. Take 167th west about 3 miles to Oak Park Ave. Turn right. Travel north .7 miles. Turn left onto Centennial Drive.
